There was palpable shock at Nigeria’s senate on Tuesday after Ministry of Aviation officials appeared before the country’s Senate Committee on Aviation.
The Managing Director, Nigeria Air claimed the Airline logo was only unveiled and not launched. His position triggered both shock and consternation as the committee fired questions which at the Managing Director.
Members of the committee could not hide their shock when it was revealed that the aircraft bearing Nigeria’s colours was actually a chartered flight.
Nigeria’s immediate past Aviation Minister had unveiled the airline just before the end of his tenure last month.
