Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu’s administration has made plans to repair and optimize one of Nigeria’s four refineries before the end of the year.
Mele Kyari, the Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, disclosed this during a meeting with the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Adamu.
Mr. Kyari stated that the president is working on palliative measures to alleviate the effects of the recent hike in pump price and commercial fare.
Additionally, there is an ongoing rehabilitation process to ensure that one of the refineries is ready for operation by the end of the year.
This news is sure to bring some relief to Nigerians who have been struggling with the high cost of fuel.
