ECOWAS Commission Celebrates 48th Anniversary with a Range of Activities.

The Office of the Resident Representative of the President of the ECOWAS Commission in Cabo Verde, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Regional Integration, organized a series of events from 4th to 29th May 2023 to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the ECOWAS Commission.

The celebrations were aimed at promoting regional integration and cooperation among member states. The activities included seminars, workshops, and conferences on topics such as trade, security, and economic development.

The events were attended by representatives from various member states, as well as international organizations and stakeholders.

The ECOWAS Commission was established in 1975 with the aim of promoting economic integration and cooperation among West African countries.

Over the years, it has played a crucial role in facilitating regional development and integration, promoting peace and security, and advancing the socio-economic well-being of the people of West Africa.
